Job Description:

• Represent Engineering on multi-functional project teams consisting of Sales, Product Management, Project Management, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Outside Suppliers.• Design and development of products to meet performance specification and fitness for manufacture. Encompassing electrical, mechanical and material requirements.
  • Work on Product Optimization and Cost Improvement to reduce cost and improve product competitiveness.
  • Evaluate manufacturing deviation requests and make decisions on deviation acceptance.
  • Manage tool transfer and First Article approvals.
  • Create and manage all supporting technical documentation; including drawings, specifications, inspection plans, reports etc
  • Coordinate with test laboratories on product validation and qualification testing.
• • Facilitate Agency Approval activities with Product Approvals personnel.
