Job Description:

• Develop and follow Gate – phase processes as per TE governance models. Take Overall responsibility for moving projects through gate review meetings at both India and Global levels.
• Support sales and product management teams especially for projects during the quoting process with cost & cycle time calculations, ad-hoc presentations and achievable delivery schedules
• Successful execution to meet project charters and internal as well as customer requirements.
• Lead weekly project reviews, risk reviews with TE global teams, customers and suppliers
• Hold periodic internal project reviews as needed, report & escalate appropriately, and manage and influence stakeholder expectations
• Track cost or schedule variance in projects and report in the appropriate forums.
• EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
• BE/B-Tech in Mechanical/Electrical stream
• Good knowledge on MS Office (Excel/Word)
• MS project knowledge will be added advantage
• PMP certification is desired
• CRITICAL EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years working in a high mix low volume manufacturing environment in Project Management.
• Good knowledge in Connectors and Harnesses and SAP modules
• Exposure to project costing, part costing, margins and other terminologies such as NPV, Payback period, CAPEX, OPEX etc. is preferred.
• Should have an experience of maintaining project P&Ls
• Global team collaboration or exposure to manage New product development programs for global customers is preferred
• Adept in MIS reporting and key project metrics
• Needs to have a general understanding of Supply chain, procurement and sourcing to work with the cross functional teams more effectively
