Job Description:

• The Global PPAP Support Team (GPST) under the Supplier Readiness process of CSM-India, fundamentally supports requesting divisions / product lines in reviewing and approving Risk level ‘C’ PAPPs for projects associated with Suppliers in global locations (except India) shipping parts to global locations of ZF (except India).
• This process aims at a providing ‘customer audit ready’ PAPPs. While GPST handles PAPPs arising out of various business scenarios, it may offer custom support with extended scope of APQP / PPAP to different internal customers on case to case basis.Coordinate with suppliers to define PPAP requirements for assigned PPAPs, secure and review PPAP documentation and accord on-time disposition per business needs.
• Responsible for ensuring the high Quality of Event (QoE) of PPAPs so that PPAPs are ‘customer audit ready’ anytime.
• Coach Suppliers on ZF requirements, in order that the submissions are flawless.
• Network with Global cross functional teams to resolve bottleneck issues in APQP / PPAP phase to make on-time delivery of parts.
• Responsibilities as part of extended scope – Execute APQP process, including PPAP, to ensure Process, Product and systems comply with ZF requirements.

Your Profile:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Possess technical expertise / fair exposure in multiple manufacturing processes such as Forging, Die Casting, Iron casting, Rubber and Plastic, Machining etc.
• 04 To 05 years of experience in supplier development / supplier quality / Manufacturing in Automotive Industries. Extensively practiced automotive APQP / PAPP requirements.
• Conversant with Problem solving techniques and Quality tools. Strong analytical ability / inquisitiveness to learn and adapt to new manufacturing processes.
• Possess strong abilities in planning, coordinating, executing, coaching, decision-making, trouble shooting and reporting.
• Certification for IATF Internal auditor, VDA …or similar will be an added advantage.
